This SMS Policy describes how RockStar Apartment Locators, Corp. ("RockStar Apartment Locators," "we," "us," or "our") sends text messages to customers who have opted in to receive them, and how we collect, use, and protect the information associated with that messaging program. This SMS Policy applies specifically to our SMS/text messaging program and supplements the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy on this page.
Program Description
Customers who affirmatively opt in — through a website form, by replying to an email invitation, or by another permitted consent method — may receive SMS/text messages related to their apartment search, including:
- Requested-information notifications — responses to a property inquiry or search request
- Appointment reminders — confirmations or reminders for property showings and tours
- Application-related communications — updates on the status of a rental application submitted through us
- Client-care and account/service updates — general customer service communications related to an active inquiry or lease
We do not send marketing or promotional messages to numbers that have not separately opted in to that type of communication, and we do not send messages related to loans, credit, gambling, cannabis, or other content prohibited under CTIA and mobile carrier messaging policies.
Message Frequency & Fees
Message frequency may vary depending on your apartment search activity and how many properties or appointments you are working with us on. Message and data rates may apply based on your mobile carrier plan.
How We Obtain Consent
We only send SMS messages to numbers that have affirmatively opted in, either by checking a consent box on our Search Request and Contact forms, or by replying to an email in which we disclose that responding constitutes consent to receive SMS messages. Consent to receive SMS messages is not a condition of purchasing any service from RockStar Apartment Locators. Our apartment-locating services are free to renters whether or not you opt in to SMS.

Privacy of Your SMS Information
WHAT WE COLLECT, HOW WE USE IT, AND WHO WE SHARE IT WITH
What we collect: your mobile phone number, and the fact and timestamp of your SMS opt-in or opt-out, along with the property search or inquiry information you voluntarily provide (name, email, apartment preferences, appointment details).
How we use it: solely to deliver the SMS messaging service you opted into — responding to your inquiry, sending appointment reminders, providing application or service updates, administering your messaging preferences, and maintaining consent/opt-out records as required by mobile carrier and regulatory rules.
Who we share it with: SMS consent is not shared with third parties or affiliates. We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile number or SMS opt-in/consent information with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes. Your information may be shared only with service providers who help us operate our SMS messaging platform (e.g., our SMS/texting software provider) under confidentiality obligations, or as required by law.
Your Choices
You may opt out of SMS messaging at any time by replying STOP, and you may submit a request that we not sell or share your personal information by calling 888-299-APTS (2787) or emailing SMS@rockstarapartments.com.
